David Blackmon

Regional Operations Manager at Patterson Pope, Inc.

David Blackmon has held various roles throughout their work experience. David started off as a Sonar Technician in the US Navy, where they operated equipment and supervised other shipmates. After leaving the navy, they worked as a Cockpit Carpenter at Grady-White Boats, where they fabricated and installed finishing work on boats. David then became the Owner of Blackmon Home Repairs for a few years. Since 2007, they have been with Patterson Pope, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing installation and service teams for a large area. In 2018, they were promoted to Regional Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for the Service and Installation teams in the assigned region.

David Blackmon attended East Carolina University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a degree in Business Management with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended North Carolina State University to study Construction Engineering, though they did not obtain a degree. Before their time at North Carolina State University, David attended Lenoir Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained two Associate's degrees: one in Associate in Science and another in Associate in Arts.
