Mitch Walsh

Mitch Walsh is an experienced patent agent in the firm’s San Diego office. He primarily assists with patent preparation and prosecution in the technical areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning; biotechnology and pharmaceuticals; communications technologies; electronics and semiconductors; internet applications; and medical devices and procedures.

By translating ideas into legal documents designed to protect inventors’ ideas and discoveries, Mitch helps clients progress their scientific technology in more ways than one. As part of that journey, he enjoys being on the front end of new scientific findings and assisting others in protecting their intellectual property.

Mitch has more than three years of experience helping secure patents for various inventions and processes related to telecommunications, mechanical devices, medical devices, semiconductors and artificial intelligence. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Minor in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He is earning his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and expects to graduate in 2026.
