Emily Powers

Emily Powers is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Counseling Intern at Pau Hana Counseling since August 2023, following a Research and Communications Intern position at Children and Screens: Institute of Digital Media and Child Development earlier in 2023. With experience as a Program Guide at Pacific Quest and a Habilitation Technician at BAYADA Home Health Care, Emily has also worked as a Childcare Professional for over a decade, including self-employment. Previous roles include positions in digital marketing as an Associate and Intern at Blackhawk Digital Marketing and Conversation Piece Marketing & PR, respectively. A founder of the nonprofit Wells For Hope, Emily collaborated with Water Is Basic to provide clean water to communities in South Sudan. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Psychology from St. Edward's University.
