Lara Littlefield has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors. Lara started their career at The Collins Group, where they served as Principal and provided consultation to various organizations in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Alaska. Lara then joined the University of Washington, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Director of Regional Advancement and Associate Vice President for Innovation Strategy & Chief Strategy Officer. During their time at the university, they oversaw the implementation of advancement programs, managed fundraising efforts, and led a team of five. Most recently, Lara has been working at Vulcan LLC and the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. In these organizations, they have held the role of Executive Director, leading teams responsible for advancing ideas, approaches, and positive impact within various areas such as conservation, ocean health, climate, arts, youth, and communities.

Lara Littlefield obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Washington from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Washington in 2000-2001. Lara also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from The Evergreen State College, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they have certifications in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from CFRE International.
