Emil Dobrev

Emil Dobrev is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in marine engineering. Currently serving as Staff Chief Engineer at Paul Gauguin Cruise Line LTD since October 2015, Emil has also held the position of Hotel Engineer with Paul Gauguin Cruises and Wilhelmsen since March 2013. Prior experience includes working as a 1st Engineer at IBERO CRUISES from March 2008 to July 2012. Emil holds an Engineer’s Degree in Ship Engines and Machinery from Mariners College in Varna, obtained from 1986 to 1991. Expertise encompasses A/C and refrigeration systems, life and sports boats, EVAC systems, and various culinary and operational equipment aboard cruise ships.
