Michael Karl

Michael Karl is an accomplished professional in the fields of product development and research, currently serving as Manager of Product Development at HARTMANN GROUP since May 2019. In this role, Michael manages multi-site MDR Class III development projects and drives innovation in R&D through the initiation and management of projects from conception to completion, utilizing PMO-centric principles for efficient delivery. Prior to this position, Michael held roles as Manager Development Technologist and research fellow at Ulm University, where a thesis focused on "Insights into old and new acetogens: transformation barriers and genomics" was completed. Educational achievements include a doctorate, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, all from Ulm University.
