Brian D. Israel

Brian D. Israel currently serves as Co-Chair of the National Environmental Litigation Practice at Paul Hastings, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Israel was Chair of the Environmental Practice Group at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP from August 2000 to August 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as an Honors Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from August 1996 to August 2000 and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Julia S. Gibbons at the U.S. District Court from August 1995 to August 1996. Israel holds a Certificate in Sustainable Capitalism & ESG from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, a Juris Doctor degree from New York University, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Philosophy from New College of Florida.
