Rachel Kurzweil

Rachel Kurzweil serves as Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP since October 2016, building on a solid foundation in health law and policy. Previously, Rachel held the position of Health Litigation Fellow at AARP Foundation Litigation, where important contributions were made in health-related legal matters. Additional experience includes a legal externship at Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore, and internships with the US Department of Health and Human Services and Harvard Law School's Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation. Rachel's early career included roles in compliance and customer service, with academic credentials comprising a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from Mount Holyoke College.
