Robert Freedman

Robert Freedman is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at Paul Hastings, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this, Robert Freedman was a Partner at Shearman and Sterling from December 2006 to May 2022, focusing on project and infrastructure development and finance, sustainable development and renewable energy, as well as asset acquisitions and dispositions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Robert Freedman's earlier experience includes serving as Managing Director and Counsel at GE Energy Financial Services from 2004 to 2006 and as a Senior Associate at Milbank LLP from 1996 to 2004, where similar practices were emphasized. Robert Freedman earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Finance from Binghamton University School of Management.
