Anya Makovetska began their career in 2016 as a Skincare Consultant at SEPHORA, where they provided excellent service to clients and recommended suitable products based on their skincare needs. Anya then joined The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in 2017, starting as a Beauty Advisor before quickly being promoted to Business Manager. In these roles, they developed customer relationships, organized in-store events, and observed business trends to enhance brand reputation and drive sales. Anya also served as a Store Director, overseeing strategic targeting, customer relationship management, and team leadership.

In 2020, Anya joined Paul Mitchell Schools as a Marketing Manager, where they oversaw all aspects of marketing, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and website content. Anya managed an annual marketing budget and created engaging marketing content to reach a broad online audience and generate new leads. Anya eventually became the Regional Marketing Director, designing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple locations.
