Lola Esmieu

Paola "Lola" Esmieu serves as the Chief of Staff and Special Assistant to the President at Paul Quinn College since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Director for Programs and Strategy at The Samuel D. Proctor Institute for Leadership, Equity, and Justice, and various positions at the University of Pennsylvania, including Associate Director for Programs and Assistant Director for Programming. Previous leadership experience encompasses serving as Residence Director at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, a Senior Corps Member Team Leader at City Year, and internships focused on leadership development and outreach at UC Santa Barbara. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and a Master of Science in Education in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies was earned at UC Santa Barbara.
