Liz Yeo has a diverse work history, starting with their current position as Chief of Alliances at the Paul Ramsay Foundation since December 2022. In this role, they work towards ending cycles of disadvantage in Australia by enabling equitable opportunities for people and communities to thrive. Liz previously held the position of Head of Alliances at the same organization since June 2022.
Prior to their work at the Paul Ramsay Foundation, Liz was the CEO of the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre from 2015 to June 2022. During their time there, they focused on building a socially just community, while also promoting enjoyment.
Before their time at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, Liz held the position of General Manager at The Aurora Project and Programs from October 2012 to February 2015. Liz'sresponsibilities in this role involved overseeing operations and corporate services for successful project and program delivery.
Liz also worked as a Senior Consultant (Contractor) at Matrix on Board from April 2012 to September 2012.
From 2008 to 2012, Liz served as the General Manager of Human Resources at The Benevolent Society.
Lastly, they worked as an HR Manager at The Cancer Council NSW from 1999 to 2008.
Liz Yeo completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Sydney, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Adult Education from the University of Technology Sydney, where they studied from 1999 to 2001.
