Steven van Petegem

Steven Van Petegem is a lecturer at EPFL, teaching the master course 'Materials Science at Large Scale Facilities'. Steven is also a Senior Scientist at Paul Scherrer Institut, specializing in the research of advanced materials, in-situ mechanical testing, and deformation mechanisms in metals. Prior to this, Steven completed their PhD at Ghent University on the topic of nanocrystalline materials.
