Tiuri E. Kroese

Tiuri E. Kroese has an extensive background in medicine, specializing in Radiation Oncology. Currently serving as a Resident and Research Fellow at Universitätsspital Zürich, involvement spans departments of Radiation Oncology and Surgery. Prior experience includes a role as a PhD Candidate at UMC Utrecht, contributing to research in both Surgery and Radiation Oncology, and serving on the Associate Editorial Board for BJS since February 2023. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine, both obtained from Utrecht University, as well as a Gymnasium diploma from Revius Lyceum Doorn. Additional experience includes a Graduate Research Student position at Harvard Medical School and various roles during studies, including as a Student Assistant in Anatomy and a Student Researcher in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
