Ridgely Brode has worked in the fashion industry since 1989. In 1989, they began working as an Account Coordinator, Advertising at Calvin Klein, where they were responsible for producing bi-monthly fashion shoots for national advertising campaigns. Ridgely then worked as an Editorial Assistant at Harper's Bazaar in 1992, where they coordinated all editorial photo shoots for the Fashion Director. In 1993, they founded the original agency, Croft Public Relations, which was later renamed Paul Wilmot Communications in 1997. At Paul Wilmot Communications, they built the team from 6 people with 10 accounts to 35+ employees with over 50 accounts. In 2008, they successfully orchestrated the sale of 70% of the business to Fleishman Hillard. In 2011, they founded Ridgely's Radar, a lifestyle blog that serves as a guide to shopping, reading, recipes, and more. As the sole contributor and creative behind the content and graphics for the blog, they were responsible for brand management and development, social media marketing, graphics, design creation, photography and management via Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, as well as the front end web design and development of ridgelysradar.com and all social media channels.
Ridgely Brode received a Bachelor's degree in Art Ridgely'story and a Studio Art Minor from Tulane University between 1985 and 1989. Prior to that, they attended Foxcroft School from 1982 to 1985.
