Steve McMichael is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public service and real estate. Since December 2017, Steve has served as the President of the Board of Directors for Indiana Electric Cooperatives, while also holding the position of Director and Board Vice Chairman. As Mayor of New Haven since February 2016, Steve has played a key role in local governance. Steve's background includes serving as City Council President and City Council Member. Additionally, Steve has been involved with Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative as a Trustee and Board Chairman since March 2013. With a rich history in real estate, Steve was the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Imagine from 1993 to 2020, specializing in first-time homebuyers and client representation. Steve's career began in retail management at Builders Square from 1987 to 1994. Steve earned education credentials from Purdue University Fort Wayne and Bishop Luers High School.
