Jake Zastrow

Jake Zastrow has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Jake is currently the Creative Director at Paulsen, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Art Director and Creative Designer since February 2012, where they had multiple clients and worked on web development, app design, branding, and strategic presentations.

From August 2021 to June 2022, Jake was the Creative Director at Caliber. Before that, they held the position of Art Director at Caliber from December 2017 to August 2021. At Sanford Health, Jake worked as a Senior Graphic Designer from June 2016 to December 2017.

Jake also has experience as an Art Director at SONIFI Solutions, Inc. from December 2013 to June 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the creation, branding, and development of brand materials across print, web, and video. Jake also served as a photographer, videographer, and web developer.

Before that, from November 2012 to November 2013, Jake worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at JamesDugan, Inc. where they created brand-specific materials for casino clients and collaborated with the art director to improve consistency and brand recognition.

At Lodgenet, Jake worked as a Graphic Designer from March 2010 to November 2012, where they implemented a process that saved production time and designed various assets to meet marketing and identity requirements.

Lastly, Jake started their career as a Graphic Designer at Sioux Falls Shopping News / Western Commercial Printing from August 2008 to March 2010, where they collaborated with sales assistants to create effective advertising and developed ads within deadline-based work environments.

Jake Zastrow attended Watertown High School from 1998 to 2002. Jake then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Contemporary Media & Journalism with an emphasis in Visual Communication at the University of South Dakota from 2002 to 2007.
