Fernando Batista

Fernando Batista is a legal scholar and current Dean of the Faculty of Law at Universidad Panamericana, where they also serve as a full professor. They are an active member of various legal and human rights organizations in Mexico, including the National Institute of Jurisprudence and the Mexican Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation. With prior roles such as Director General Adjunto of Human Rights at the Federal Ministry of Public Security and various judicial positions within the Federal Judiciary, Fernando has made significant contributions to the field of law and human rights. They are also published authors of legal literature, including a book on human dignity in Mexico, and serve on editorial boards for legal journals. Since 2023, they have continued their academic journey as a professor at UNAM.
