Executive President of Corferias at Universidad del Rosario

Lawyer and Collegiate from the Universidad del Rosario with a specialization in Financial Law obtained with honors from the same institution. Rosarista Counselor since 2015. With an MBA in Business Management from the Universidad de Los Andes.

He currently serves as Executive President of Corferias (the main entity that promotes the development and internationalization of the business sector in the Andean Region and the Latin American Pacific Arc) and is a member of the professional and independent Board of Directors in different leading entities in the energy, infrastructure, education and development promotion. At the international level, he is Honorary President of the main industry associations, a position that in the case of UFI The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (entity with participation and representation from more than 87 countries) meant that for the first time a Latin American accessed said position in 90 years of existence of the association.

University Professor for more than 12 years, initially (1996-2006) in the areas of Business and Financial Law (Universidad del Rosario and Universidad de los Andes) and currently (2017-to date) in the areas of Leadership, Strategy and Value Shared (Universidad del Rosario). He is the founder of the Center for Leadership and Strategy of the Universidad del Rosario, which has defined as its focus the management of high-impact projects in the construction of institutions in the country, under the concept of Transformational Leadership: Technology and Values ​​for change. .

Given the results obtained by his management on the fronts of innovation, internationalization and modernization in the entities he has led and the economic and social impact achieved by the integral sustainable development programs that he has promoted, he has been the object of various recognitions (he was recently recognized by Semana Magazine as one of the 25 companies that contribute the most to the development of the country and in the past was recognized by Manager Magazine as one of the 100 most successful managers in the country and by Power Magazine as one of the 10 best General Managers).
