Deepika Lakhani

Deepika Lakhani has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Deepika is currently working as the Senior Vice President at PAVmed Inc. since May 2023 and previously held the position of Vice President - Regulatory and Quality from June 2022 to May 2023. Before joining PAVmed Inc., Deepika worked at AstraZeneca as the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs from November 2019 to June 2022. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at the FDA, where they served as a Team Leader at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) from January 2014 to November 2019. Deepika also held roles as a Senior Reviewer at the Center for Drugs Evaluation and Research (CDER) from June 2012 to January 2014 and as a Reviewer specializing in CMC and Biopharmaceutics at CDER from February 2009 to June 2012. During their time at the FDA, they gained expertise in inhalation drug products and was involved in the review of INDs, NDAs, sNDAs, DMFs, and meeting packages.

Deepika Lakhani earned a Ph.D degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, completing their education from 2004 to 2008. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Delhi University. Deepika also attended Holy Child Auxilium, but no degree or field of study is specified for this institution.
