Engr. Augustine Ngongban

Engr. Augustine Ngongban has worked in various roles within the Information Technology and Telecoms industry since 2003. In 2003, they began working as a Lecturer at the African Institute of Computer Science. In 2005, they were hired by Cisco Systems as an Inside Sales Account Manager for West & Central Africa. In 2010, they joined Westcon Africa as a Regional Manager for West & Central Africa and Business Lead for Software & Security. Engr. Augustine then moved on to Hitachi Data Systems in 2012 as a Regional Manager for West & Central Africa. In 2014, they joined The ICT University as a Senior Lecturer and PRO. In 2015, they became Managing Director of SNS Solutions and SNS Mobility Cameroon, and also began working as a Lecturer at The University of Bamenda. In 2021, they were hired by pawaPay as a Regional Account Manager for WCA, and in 2022 they became a Member of Council and Chairperson of the Committee of Experts, Computing (Informatique) at the National Order of Electrical and IT Engineers of Cameroon (ONIGE).

Engr. Augustine Ngongban began their educational journey in 1990 when they attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where they earned a B.A Hons and a B.A (Hons). In 2000, they went on to earn an M.Sc. in Computing and Information Technology from the University of Bedfordshire. Finally, from 2010 to 2013, they attended The ICT University, Baton Rouge, where they obtained a Ph.D in Information and Communication Technology.
