Marcos Mendez is a seasoned psychotherapist with extensive experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and marriage conflicts. Currently serving at Kansas State University since September 2020, Mendez also holds a position at Pawnee Mental Health Services since January 2018. Previous roles include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Cedar Falls Counseling Associates and private practice psychotherapist. As a graduate research assistant, Mendez contributed to research on intimate partner violence and the impact of professional experiences on burnout among therapists. Mendez earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Couples and Family Therapy from Kansas State University, enhancing expertise in the field.
