Tanguy Peers

Tanguy Peers has worked in a variety of roles since 1995. Tanguy began their career at Morgan Stanley, working as an M&A Hi Tech & Telecom, where they advised hi tech and telecoms companies on strategic and financing issues. In 1999, they co-founded b2build.com, a B2B online marketplace for the European construction industry. Tanguy was also awarded the 'Start-up of the Year' award (Capital IT, 2000). In 2003, they joined eBay Inc. as Vice President Operations & Global Expansion, Classifieds, and then moved to become Vice President & GM, Advertising, where they grew advertising revenue 6x from $50M to $300M+. Tanguy also served as Sr Director & GM, eBay Belgium and CFO, eBay Benelux. In 2013, they became CEO & Co-founder of Pawshake.com, an online marketplace for pet services backed by AirTree Ventures. Tanguy also became a Mentor at Seedcamp. In 2022, they co-founded BEforUkraine, a non-profit with the sole mission of helping Ukrainian refugees and citizens.

Tanguy Peers obtained their MBA from INSEAD in 1999, majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. In 1994-1995, they studied at Boston College Carroll School of Management, earning a Msc in Corporate Finance, Investments, and Risk Management. In 1993, they obtained a Bachelier en philosophie from Université catholique de Louvain. Tanguy completed their undergraduate studies in 1988-1992 at KU Leuven, where they earned a BA in Economics and majored in Commercial Engineering.
