Susan Cormier

Susan Cormier is an experienced investigator currently serving as a Special Member at The Vidocq Society, providing pro bono assistance in solving cold case homicides. Cormier has been a member of several professional organizations dedicated to cold case investigations, including the American Investigative Society of Cold Cases, the Mid-Atlantic Cold Case Homicide Investigators Association, the Atypical Homicide Research Group, the Rhode Island Criminalistics Association, and the New England Division International Association for Identification. Cormier has extensive law enforcement experience with the Pawtucket Police Department, holding various roles such as Detective in the Major Crime Unit and Youth Bureau, as well as involvement in the Rhode Island Cold Case Task Force. Cormier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Roger Williams University and has also completed specialized training at the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy and the University of Rhode Island-State Crime Lab.
