Co-Founder & CEO, Asia at Paxos

Rich Teo is the Co-Founder & CEO of Paxos, a financial technology company that aims to make it easier for people to transact. Prior to founding Paxos, Rich was a Principal / Senior Analyst at Cedar Hill Capital Partners, where they oversaw the firm's investments across the capital structure in financial services institutions. Rich also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Services M&A group at Citi.

Rich's interest in financial technology started when they were serving in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Combat Signaler. There, they used technology to help coordinate communication and logistics between different units. After their stint in the army, Rich decided to pursue a career in finance, and they have been working in the industry for over 15 years. In that time, they have gained a deep understanding of the financial services sector and the challenges it faces. With Paxos, Rich is looking to use their knowledge and experience to help make financial transactions simpler and more efficient.

Rich Teo has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Rich majored in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Strategy and International Business. Prior to that, they attended Raffles Institution for their A Levels and Anglo Chinese School for their "O" Levels.

Rich Teo reports to Charles Cascarilla, CEO & Co-Founder. Rich Teo works with Dorothy Chang - VP, Marketing & Comms, Walter Hessert - Head of Strategy, and Madan Nagaldinne - Chief People Officer.
