Austin Zani

Austin Zani is a developer at Pay Theory. Austin previously worked as a service manager at computerDNA and as a Mac Genius at Apple Retail.

Austin began their career in 2008 as a Mac Genius at Apple Retail. In this role, they provided support and training to new service technicians. Austin also conducted annual reviews and provided feedback to coworkers to maintain a high quality of customer service. In 2015, they left Apple Retail to join computerDNA as their service manager.

At computerDNA, Austin drove metrics to achieve Premium status from Apple for 3 years while in role. Austin also trained new service technicians, provided feedback, and conducted annual reviews. In 2019, they left computerDNA to join Pay Theory as a developer.

Austin has always been interested in technology. In 2020, they decided to further their education by enrolling in a Java Development Boot Camp. During the boot camp, they completed projects such as a vending machine application and a national parks reservation app. Austin also built a website using Spring MVC, CSS, HTML, JSPs, and Java Objects.
