Dr. Alexander Khachikyan

Dr. Alexander Khachikyan is a Principal AI & Data Scientist at PAYBACK since September 2021, and also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, teaching Machine Learning & Deep Learning. Previously, Dr. Khachikyan held various positions at ficonTEC Service GmbH from October 2018 to January 2023, including Team Lead R&D and External Consultant, focusing on AI, robotics, and applied machine learning/deep learning. Additional experiences include a Doctoral Researcher role at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology from 2014 to 2018, and an Application Scientist at NT-MDT Europe B.V. from 2011 to 2014, specializing in solid-state physics and neuromorphic computing. Dr. Khachikyan holds a PhD in Biophysics from the Max Planck Society and degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
