Shawn Whiteside

Shawn Whiteside is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as Developer IV Solutions Lead at Paychex since December 2017, Shawn previously held roles at Thomson Reuters from February 2012 to December 2017, where responsibilities included Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Before that, Shawn worked at the Rochester Institute of Technology from August 1998 to February 2012 as Senior Web Services Programmer/Analyst, notably leading the design and development of a replacement gateway for the Dining Service account system using Jersey to create a RESTful web service. Shawn holds an Associate's degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned between 1993 and 1998.
