Andreas Holmberg

Andreas Holmberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Andreas is currently serving as the CTO of Payconiq International since April 2022. Before that, they took a sabbatical from November 2021 to March 2022, during which they focused on travel, running, exploring, and learning. Prior to their sabbatical, Andreas worked as the CTO of DEGIRO at flatexDEGIRO Bank AG from January 2019 to October 2021.

Andreas has also held significant roles in other companies. Andreas worked at Cognizant from June 2015 to January 2019, starting as the Continental Europe Head of Digital Business Interactive. In this role, they established and led the Cognizant Digital Business Interactive business unit for Continental Europe, providing strategic digital business transformation solutions. Andreas also served as the Western Continental Europe Head of Advanced Solutions Practice and the Benelux Head of Advanced Solutions Group at Cognizant.

Before joining Cognizant, Andreas worked at Oracle from November 2010 to January 2013 as a Consulting Director and a Senior Project Director in the Tax & Utilities Global Business Unit. Andreas also gained experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Stratus Technologies from August 2004 to September 2008.

Earlier in their career, Andreas held the position of Head of Professional Services/Head of Operations at Software Point from May 2003 to August 2004, specializing in Laboratory Informatics solutions. Andreas also worked at Cardinal Information Systems Ltd as a Project Director, Partner, and interim CEO, contributing to interactive digital television, financial, and gaming services.

Andreas started their professional journey at Capgemini as a Consultant in the Telecom & Utilities sector from September 1998 to April 2000. Earlier, they worked at TeliaSonera as a Development Manager and Team Leader from June 1995 to September 1998.

Andreas Holmberg obtained their M.Sc. (E.E.) degree in Telecommunications and Software Engineering from Aalto University between the years 1989 and 1996. These certifications include: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022, COBIT 5 Foundation from APMG International in November 2018, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in April 2013, and PRINCE2 Practitioner from APMG International in April 2008.
