Eric Souders, CFA, is an experienced portfolio manager specializing in fixed income, absolute return, and multi-asset credit strategies. Currently at Payden & Rygel since May 2017, Eric manages portfolios with a diverse range of alpha targets and risk tolerance, while formulating macro and sector-specific views. Previous positions include portfolio management roles at Guggenheim Partners, overseeing $20 billion in multi-asset fixed income portfolios, and at BlackRock, managing $30 billion in active investment-grade credit portfolios. Eric has also held roles at Payden & Rygel, BNY Mellon, and Newport Micro Partners LLC, demonstrating expertise across various asset classes and investment strategies. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
