Rene Martinez

Rene Martinez has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as a Fixed Income Trader at Payden & Rygel since August 2019. Previously, Rene held the position of Investment Strategist at MUFG Union Bank, NA from April 2016 to August 2019, and worked as a Financial Analyst at Westlake Financial Services from January 2015 to April 2016. Additionally, Rene gained experience as a Junior Analyst with the UCSB Investment Advisory Committee from September 2013 to June 2014, and began a career in finance as a Teller at Union Bank and Santa Barbara Bank and Trust between April 2013 and April 2013. Rene earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from UC Santa Barbara, graduating in 2014.
