Ryan joined Payette in 2016 with 14 years of professional and academic experience. Prior to joining Payette, he led a number of prestigious design projects for NADAAA and was a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology architecture design faculty. At Payette, his focus continues to be the integration of diverse project objectives with clear and innovative design. He is the recipient of multiple design awards, local and national, for both his individual work and with other design practices. As the Project Architect on buildings like Lafayette College’s Rockwell Integrated Sciences Center and Bates College’s New Science Building, he fosters a collaborative and ambitious team environment, leading the development of robust design solutions at all scales. He continues to be a regular critic for design studios at Harvard University, MIT, Rhode Island School of Design and Northeastern University.
