Christian Blackaby

Christian Blackaby is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in technical integration and product feedback processes. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Payflows since September 2025, Christian previously held roles at TrueLayer as Integration Lead and Senior Integration Manager, where notable achievements included pioneering product enhancements that doubled company revenue and managing strategic client integrations. Prior experience also includes leading operations at Optibus, providing technical consulting at Engage ESM, and software engineering roles at Metaswitch Networks and UTC Aerospace Systems. Christian holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Durham University and has built a solid foundation in technical strategy, team leadership, and client relationship management across various high-profile projects.
