Michael Hyde

Michael Hyde has been working in various roles since 2014. Michael began their career as a Sales Floor Associate at Brave New World Surf and Snow, Inc. in 2014. In 2019, they took on the role of Coordinator at SUMMERTIME Surf School - Point Pleasant, where they applied strong leadership talents and problem-solving skills to maintain team efficiency and organize workflows. Michael then became a Key Holder at Channel Islands Surfboards, where they built relationships with customers to increase likelihood of repeat business. In 2020, Michael Hyde took on two roles: Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara and Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara. At UC Santa Barbara, they worked closely with a large research team on how virtual reality affected the memory of those diagnosed with sever dementia. At UC Santa Barbara, they conducted interviews with DACA recipients to learn how COVID-19 has affected them. Currently, Michael Hyde is an Account Executive, Senior Business Development Representative, and Business Development Representative at PayJunction.

Michael Hyde attended Santa Barbara City College from 2017 to 2019, where they studied Communication and Media Studies. Michael then transferred to UC Santa Barbara, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and Technology Management Program in 2021.
