Sotiris Nossis

Sotiris Nossis has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sotiris is the founder and CEO of Payment Components, a global B2B solution provider for the Digital Banking age. The company offers componentized solutions in various domains, such as AI Banking, Open Banking, account to account payments, and financial messages technology. They cater to Financial Institutions, Payment Processors, Fintechs, and top tier banks.

Prior to founding Payment Components, Sotiris Nossis founded and served as CEO of Datamation software consulting and applications in 1989. The company focused on providing financial services software for the banking, insurance, and digital financial services sectors.

In addition, Sotiris Nossis was the co-founder, CEO, architect, and CTO of Taxiplon, a mobile taxi hailing app. Under their leadership, Taxiplon was nominated as the "best mobile app for transportation" at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona. Sotiris worked at Taxiplon from 2010 to 2014.

Their early work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at IBM Global Services from 1986 to 1988.

Sotiris Nossis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Queens College from 1977 to 1981. Sotiris then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from New York University, completing their studies from 1981 to 1984.
