Garrett Cassidy

Garrett Cassidy is the Founder and Managing Director of Abarta Consulting, established in February 2014, which focuses on bridging product development with regulatory compliance and market innovation for payment businesses. Currently serving as the Director at Payments Consulting Network since January 2024, Garrett brings extensive experience from leadership roles including VP Financial Products at Monese, where innovative financial products were developed, and Co-founder & CEO of Trezeo, a fintech that aimed to deliver inclusive financial services for independent workers. Previous roles include Programme Director at Bank of Ireland, where strategic impacts of Basel 3 were evaluated, and a Managing Director position at Circle, focusing on transforming the world economy with new financial technologies. Garrett holds a BA in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and an Executive MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
