Jonathan Gaegler

Jonathan Gaegler is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Customer Success at PayNearMe since April 2021, Jonathan leads multiple engineering disciplines and has been recognized as the highest-rated manager in a company-wide survey. Previously, Jonathan held the role of Director of Engineering for Merchant Operations, achieving top recognition nominations. Jonathan's career includes pivotal roles such as Ruby on Rails Technical Lead at Kindful, where recognition was earned as employee of the month within four months, and Senior API Engineer at Takl, with a promotion in the first three months. Earlier experiences include significant accomplishments at Adwerx and Automated Insights, Inc., along with co-founding Legal Stats. Jonathan holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
