Lori Crew is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data Engineering at PayNearMe since March 2021, Lori leads a diverse team of DataOps Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to support the company's data needs and enhance customer experiences. Prior roles at PayNearMe include Director of Data, where initiatives focused on building a new data architecture utilizing AWS, Xplenty, Snowflake, dbt, and Looker. Lori's career also includes tenure as a Data Warehouse Engineer at Simple Finance and various engineering and management roles at RGI Informatics and Boingo Wireless, where responsibilities encompassed billing systems architecture, project leadership, and software engineering. With an educational background that includes a BS in Computer Science from Loma Linda University and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, Lori possesses a robust foundation in technical and managerial disciplines.
