Jason Hansen

Jason Hansen is an experienced executive in technology compliance and regulatory oversight, currently serving as Director of Security and Technology Compliance Assurance and Oversight at PayPal since September 2016. Jason specializes in information security risks and controls, leading a team of professionals focused on adapting to the dynamic regulatory landscape. Responsibilities include streamlining global assessments and ensuring maximum benefits from security and compliance measures. Prior to PayPal, Jason held key positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as Associate Director of IT Audit, Arizona Public Service as Federal Rate and Regulatory Advisor, and Pinnacle West Capital Corporation as Senior Auditor, among others. Jason began a career in auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers after earning a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Arizona State University.
