Jason Riedel

Jason Riedel has over 18 years of experience in technology infrastructure and cyber defense, primarily at PayPal from August 2005 to February 2024, where roles included Platform Architect and Global Head of Cyber Defense, overseeing teams across multiple countries. Riedel also served as Head of Public Cloud Engineering, leading PayPal's first Public Cloud team and architecting its Google Cloud implementation, alongside a prior role as Senior Architect in Site Reliability Engineering, focusing on data center design and various software systems. In addition, Riedel co-founded Aspireship, serving as Co-Founder and CTO from August 2019 to March 2023, responsible for technology and cybersecurity strategy, as well as software engineering for an eLearning platform. Prior experience includes directing cloud architecture and engineering teams at Symantec, where Riedel built a hybrid cloud with AWS and OpenStack.
