Jonathan Urban

Jonathan Urban is a seasoned legal professional specializing in financial regulation and compliance. Currently serving as Director, Legal Counsel for Financial Regulation at PayPal since February 2023, Jonathan previously held the position of Regulatory Counsel at Plaid and has an extensive background at USAA, where Jonathan advanced through roles such as Senior Attorney for Deposits and Payments and Senior Attorney for Regulatory Risk. Prior experience includes serving as an Enforcement Attorney at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where Jonathan investigated compliance with consumer financial protection laws, and a stint as a Policy Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
