Yon Garber

Yon Garber is a data scientist specializing in insider fraud at PayPal, where they are currently enhancing their expertise. Previously, they worked as a data engineer at Citi and held roles as a graduate research assistant and supplemental instructor at American University. Yon achieved recognition by winning first prize in the PwC Case Competition and has also served as a program manager at Pagaya. In addition to their academic and professional pursuits, Yon was a professional athlete, representing Israel’s National Team in kayaking from 2006 to 2017. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computational Science and Statistics and a Master of Science in Machine Learning and Data Science.
