Piyush Gaur

Piyush Gaur is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, currently serving as an SDE II at PayPay Corporation since September 2025. Prior experience includes a role at BharatPe from January 2023 to July 2025, where Piyush developed the In-House Recon V2 Rule Engine for 3-way reconciliation and re-architected the Pending UPI callback processing modules using Apache Kafka, significantly enhancing throughput. At OYO, from January 2021 to December 2022, contributions included the development of a routing layer for the global architecture of OYO Vacation Home’s tech stack and the migration of Ruby services to scalable Java microservices. Piyush holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi Technological University, earned from 2017 to 2021.
