Florin Andrei

Florin Andrei has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology. Florin started their career as a Systems Administrator at Expert in 1998. Florin later joined SGI in 2000, where they served as a Sr. Network Analyst. At deCarta, they worked as a Sr. Systems Administrator and was responsible for building a logging and reporting application for web services. Florin then moved to IronPlanet, where they took on the role of Sr. Systems Administrator and spearheaded the migration to the cloud. Florin joined Twin Prime, Inc. in 2014 as a Member of Technical Staff, where they contributed to the development of the company's cloud infrastructure. Florin continued their work in the DevOps field at Symphony - Secure Seamless Communication, where they played a key role in architecting a secure interconnect for the company's cloud infrastructure. Most recently, Florin worked at PayRange as a Sr. DevOps Engineer, where they helped scale up the cloud infrastructure and implemented software-defined infrastructure using Hashicorp Terraform templates.

Florin Andrei obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Data Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from the University of Bucharest, attending from 1989 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Florin Andrei has obtained several certifications. In March 2022, they received a certificate from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute for completing the course "Building Transformer-Based Natural Language Processing Applications." In May 2022, they obtained a certificate in "NLP - Natural Language Processing with Python" from Udemy. In September 2016, Florin Andrei obtained a certificate in "Machine Learning" from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, in March 2023, they earned a certificate in "Quantum Programming 101" from D-Wave.
