Emil Petrov

Emil Petrov is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response and digital forensics. Currently serving as the Manager of the Cyber Incident Response Team at Paysafe since June 2020, Emil leads the CIRT and manages the company's DFIR capabilities while providing technical expertise to stakeholders. Prior roles include establishing a Cyber Incident Response Team at Paysafe, managing critical security incidents at DXC Technology, and serving as a Cyber Security Expert at Schwarz IT KG. Emil began the career as a Service Engineer at Siemens, emphasizing security and maintenance of personalization systems. Emil holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia.
