Stoyan Petkov

Stoyan Petkov is a seasoned professional in IT compliance, cybersecurity, and risk assurance with extensive experience spanning several prominent organizations. Currently serving as Director of Global IT SOX Compliance at Paysafe Group since June 2020, Stoyan previously held the role of Head of Cybersecurity at Postbank for a brief period in early 2022. Prior to that, Stoyan contributed as a Senior Associate at PwC Bulgaria in Risk Assurance Services, where responsibilities included IT external and internal audits and cybersecurity advisory. Stoyan also served as a Senior Consultant at EY, focusing on IT risk assurance for financial services, and worked as an Information Security Officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, overseeing security governance in various industries. Stoyan began professional career at Deloitte Bulgaria as a Consultant in Enterprise Risk Services after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from the American University in Bulgaria.
