Velimira Nedelcheva

Velimira Nedelcheva is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and advisory roles, currently serving as the Director of Merchant Compliance Advisory & Investigations and Head of Global Merchant Compliance at Paysafe Group since April 2016. Velimira's previous positions include Senior Compliance Manager and Compliance Merchant Due Diligence Team Lead, where a strong focus was placed on managing teams, enhancing compliance processes, and liaising with various stakeholders. Additionally, experience as a Project Manager/Legal Adviser and Assistant to a Member of the German Parliament contributed to a solid foundation in project management, legal analysis, and EU policy evaluation. Velimira holds a Master of Arts in European Studies from King's College London and two degrees from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, including a Master of Laws with a specialization in international law and international relations.
