Johan von Solms

Johan von Solms serves as the Head of Banking and Treasury at Paysend, contributing to the company's mission of transforming global payment systems since October 2021. Prior to this role, Johan held the position of Interim Group Treasurer at Revolut, overseeing critical financial management functions. Johan founded Von Solms Consulting Services, focusing on banking innovation and digital transformation projects. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Barclays, Absa Group, and Deutsche Bank, where Johan specialized in asset and liability management and funding strategies. Johan holds an M.Sc. in International Securities, Investment & Banking from Henley Business School, an M.Sc. in Computer Science, and is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Digital Transformation in Banking from the University of Johannesburg.
