Javier Mendoza

Javier Mendoza is currently a Product Designer at PaySplit. Javier has held this position for 1 year and 1 month. Prior to PaySplit, Javier worked at Make School for 2 years in various roles such as Student Council Representative, PM/Product Designer, and Event Coordinator. In their time at Make School, Javier was responsible for helping to advocate and drive change for students by using student feedback to voice student concerns and provide actionable agenda items to present to school administration during weekly meetings. Javier also helped to redesign the student dashboard in a way that made it easy to navigate and use for students while still implementing a scalable design. In addition, Javier planned and executed events; helping to create memorable experiences for current students.

Javier Mendoza has a computer science degree from Make School, where they learned software development, CS fundamentals, and technical interviewing skills in a simulated work environment. Javier also has an associate's degree in computer science from Bakersfield College and Taft College, where they worked towards getting a degree for transfer to a CSU or UC.
