Sean Farkas is the current Chief Marketing Officer at PaySplit. Sean first started out as a consultant, advising marketing and social media operations. Sean then transitioned into the role of CMO, overseeing brand development, marketing campaigns, and team management. Prior to PaySplit, Sean was the Founder and CEO of FM Creative Solutions, a creative agency they established with a partner. Sean has also served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Seventh Sea Conservation, where they were responsible for marketing, brand development, and creative direction. Sean is passionate about conservation and environmentalism, and has worked closely with the company’s founder and CEO to guide Seventh Sea through multiple milestones.

Sean Farkas attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and a minor in Sustainable Environmental Design. Sean was active in a variety of clubs and organizations, including Tiny House In My Backyard (THIMBY), where they served on the executive board as Head of Marketing and Public Relations. Sean was also a staff photographer and writer for Caliber Magazine, and they won first place in a digital marketing competition hosted by Haas UGBA. Their relevant coursework includes Application of Environmental Design, Global Environmental Politics, Critical Debates in Sustainable Urbanism, Theory and Application of Geoengineering, Climate and Energy Policy, Haas, Digital Marketing, Effects of Mass Media, Virtual Communities of Social Media, and Freedom of Speech and the Press.
